Terms

The short version, in plain words.

Draft, under legal review. These describe how we intend to work and are published so an institution can read them during procurement. The signed agreement is the one that binds.

Who this is between

Sahayak and the institution that signed up. Teachers, students and parents use the product under their institution’s account; the institution is responsible for who it admits to it.

What we provide

The product as described on this site, with setup and training for paid plans. We will give notice before removing a capability an institution relies on.

AI output is a draft

Everything the AI produces is a proposal for a human to accept, change or reject. It can be wrong. The institution’s teachers remain responsible for what reaches a student, a parent or a record — which is why the product makes approval a separate action rather than a default. The one exception, machine marking, is described here.

Acceptable use

Do not use Sahayak to harass anyone, to attempt to reach another institution’s data, or to circumvent the academic-integrity controls. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use.

Your data

It stays yours. You can export it at any time. We delete our copy when you leave. See privacy.

Availability

We aim for the product to be available during school hours and we take daily backups. We do not yet offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and we would rather say so than publish a number we cannot presently be held to.

Payment and ending it

Invoiced per the plan agreed at signup. Either side can end the agreement with thirty days’ notice; we refund the unused part of a prepaid term.

Changes

We will tell institutions in writing before these terms change materially.
